Waiting on Baby Kylie

Glen's Sister is expecting her first child,

Kylie was due on the 14th of this month,

But she is still not here....

Here are a few of the things I've made her

 Burper and Onesie

 My Fav!: Minky blanket

 A Toy BackPack

(I still think it needs something)

 This is a flexable cup with handle

Made for when you are rinsing the child's hair out

So the water doesn't go in the face

 and I put some travel nessisitys in it

 Finished up an order of San Marcos Subway Signs this week

And I FINALLY got my Router the right part it was missing,

and was able to finish up my friend's birthday gifts,

 (though their birthday was in the Spring).

Ike's Monkey Costume

Isaac's Nursery Rhyme Play is coming up.

He is going to be a Monkey,

Because no Monkey costumes exist in his size

I made him one

 I could not find brown sweats or thermal underwear,

I had the idea to dye them!

My first time, I was so nervous

I think they came out great!

 I made the tail out of some brown ribbon, batting, and a wire

Then sewed it onto a ribbon belt that I fixed to the pants with buttons

(this was my first time to use anything having to do with buttons on my new sewing machine, I was stoked!)

 I fixed a button to the shirt,

and made a headband with ears (made of felt)

 I think it came out great for a beginner's costume

 He seems happy... for now

Made this Door Dangler for a neighbor's new baby,

I hope she likes it,

Josie's PillowCase Dress

Here is my first article of clothing that I made from fabric to finish! I know in the sewing community a PillowCase Dress is nothing to brag about, b/c it is supposed to be so simple, but it took a little skill.

It is easy to see here how it gets the name PillowCase Dress:Josie hasn't quite got the hang of being mommy's model

She was being shy, I guessPractice makes perfect, and the next time I make one, I have ideas so I won't spent so much time on certian areas.
