Flower Bow

I am told that I am crafty,
and I know that there is a lot that I can do,
but I have a fear for some reason,
a fear of making bows,
(And that is the only reason that Jo doesn't wear one every day,
cuz if I didn't have this fear, she would have boxes filled)
soo.....
I have a couple of girlfriends that make bows and I am so envious,
but maybe today they will be just a little jealous of what I made
Cute, huh?
So, after today, I have decided that I will give a couple more designs a try
but I will take it slow
This is my new favorite blogsite:
Here is the tutorial for this particualr bow:
Jo said she would wear it "maybe morrow"
so I snatched it back, and but it on my headband
Hey, I like pink too!
(she is pissed)
Sorry such a poor picture, but I made this last week
I didn't follow the direction to a T, so it doesn't look perfect,
but nonetheless, I spent NADA ENCHILADA on it!
Here is the tutroial:

SuperHero Felt Pillow

It's Michael's Birthday
Michael is into everything superhero,
so I made him a SUPERHERO PILLOW!
I tried to make the front like how the comics infer violence with "Pow" and "Bam"
The RICKRACK is a little womby,
but it was my first time using it to trim a pillow
Then the back,
I went a little over board,
 with the main superhero logos
(And this time I made sure that I spelled his name right, Haha)

Felt Personlized Pillow

So I made a huge mistake this last week,
One which was so easy to aviod
...
My girlfriend's daughter's birthday party was on Sunday,
I got really excited because I wanted to try to make a personalized pillow with felt.
I didn't have a design,
I was just going with whatever came in my mind at the time
I loved the outcome,
and bragged about it to close relatives
Get to the party....
I spelled the girl's name wrong
Really Jillian?  REALLY?
I'm so mad!
They were very understanding,
but come on,
how much are they going to cherish a misspelled pillow
At least I got her intials right on the back side,,,
at least I think I did
I also had another "Ashely Order"
This time I wassure excited because she asked me to do a Chi O set of Burper and Onesie
My sister-in-law is a XO and I, having spent a fair amount of time with her friends have a certain fondness for that particular sisterhood
Here is the Chi Omega Set
(I took the pic. before I sewn the bow on)
Here it is finished
And seeing that I could not send the little girl a tie onesie,
I duplicted the Bobcat on the onesie and placed bows on the sleeves,
and instead of the normal camo ribbon on the burper, I used black
(I still can't find a suitable tan color, I wonder why that is?)
